Powered Industrial Trucks
LiftOne’s industry‑leading PIT training builds confident, compliant operators. Led by detail‑oriented instructors, these courses focus on what matters most: keeping people safe, improving productivity, and maintaining compliance. Learners practice real‑world skills like pre‑operation inspections, safe maneuvering and load handling, and hazard awareness to reduce incidents, downtime, and equipment damage. Instructor‑led and highly practical, this training equips both new and experienced operators to work safely, efficiently, and audit‑ready from day one.
Telehandlers
LiftOne’s Telehandler course blends focused classroom instruction with hands‑on operation to build safe, confident operators. Participants will cover machine components and controls, reading load charts, capacity and stability with boom angle/extension, frame‑leveling and outrigger use, attachment selection/securement (forks, buckets, truss booms), pre‑operation inspections, best practices for visibility, pedestrian awareness, and traveling on grades and uneven terrain.
Learners complete a written knowledge exam and an on‑equipment practical evaluation in real workplace conditions.
Personnel & Burden Carriers
LiftOne’s multi‑stage course equips operators to use personnel and burden carriers safely and efficiently. Led by an experienced instructor, learners begin in the classroom with core requirements and site policies, carrier types and capabilities, and safe‑driving. We also cover passenger safety (for personnel carriers), load distribution and securement (for burden carriers), and pre‑operation inspection criteria.
In the hands‑on portion, participants complete a pre‑shift inspection of their equipment, then practice real‑world maneuvers in workplace scenarios, like tight‑space turns, backing, docking/parking, visibility management, and right‑of‑way. A practical skills evaluation confirms proficiency.
Mobile Elevating Work Platforms
LiftOne’s MEWP training delivers the right balance of classroom instruction and hands‑on practice to ensure safe, effective operation of aerial platforms. Participants build core skills in hazard assessment, pre‑use inspections, controls and maneuvering, safe positioning and travel, and fall‑protection fundamentals. To complete the course, learners must pass a written knowledge exam and an on‑equipment skills evaluation. Successful graduates receive an operator card and a certificate of training aligned with OSHA and ANSI standards, helping employers document competence and compliance. Ideal for both new and experienced operators seeking practical, instructor‑led training that translates directly to the job.
Fall Protection - Competent User
LiftOne’s Fall Protection course delivers a clear, practical overview of OSHA requirements for both construction (29 CFR 1926 Subpart M) and general industry (29 CFR 1910 Subpart D). Participants learn when protection is required, how to apply the hierarchy of controls (elimination, prevention, restraint, arrest), and how to select, inspect, and use system components: anchorage, body support, and connectors, within their limitations. The course also covers fall hazard recognition, equipment inspection basics, and the essentials of creating and implementing compliant fall protection plans and procedures.
By the end, learners can interpret the applicable OSHA standards, choose appropriate methods for varied work environments, and help reduce risk by documenting and executing effective fall protection measures across jobsites and facilities.
Railcar Movers
LiftOne’s Railcar Mover course combines focused classroom instruction with hands‑on operation to prepare and certify safe, capable operators. Participants learn core safety principles and operating guidelines specific to rail yards and industrial sites, with an emphasis on train-air system requirements (connections, charging, and verification), as well as understanding machine capacity and load limits.
In the field, learners complete a thorough pre‑operation inspection and a workplace evaluation, then practice operating with and without a load to demonstrate control, positioning, and safe movement. Upon successfully meeting all course requirements, participants receive an operator’s certificate issued by LiftOne on behalf of their employer.
Trailer Spotters
LiftOne’s turn‑key training certifies safe, productive terminal tractor operators through focused classroom instruction, hands‑on practice, and a practical skills evaluation. Participants learn applicable regulations and site policies, core safety principles, pre‑operation inspection criteria, and best practices: covering coupling/uncoupling, fifth‑wheel engagement checks, air/electrical connections, dock approach and spotting, tight‑space maneuvering, and trailer placement with and without a load. After a guided equipment inspection, learners operate the terminal tractor in live‑yard conditions to build confidence and consistency.
Skid Steers
LiftOne’s Skid Steer course delivers a comprehensive, hands‑on learning experience that builds safe, confident operators. Through focused classroom instruction and practical operation, participants learn safety protocols, machine controls, stability and tipping prevention, attachment selection and change‑out, pre‑operation inspection criteria, and work‑zone best practices.
Confined Space - Competent Persons
LiftOne’s half‑day course prepares all responsible parties to plan and perform confined space work safely and in compliance with OSHA requirements for both Non‑Permit and Permit‑Required Confined Spaces. Through focused classroom instruction, participants learn roles and responsibilities (Entrant, Attendant, Host Employer, and Rescuer), hazard recognition, atmospheric monitoring basics, ventilation strategies, isolation/LOTO considerations, communication protocols, and the essentials of a compliant permit process.
After passing a knowledge exam, learners implement a permit‑required entry using on‑site resources; conducting atmospheric testing, setting up ventilation, documenting permits, and validating rescue readiness. Ideal for teams seeking practical, scenario‑based preparation that reduces risk and improves readiness for confined space operations.
Battery Maintenance & Safety Training
LiftOne’s course equips technicians and operators to care for industrial motive‑power batteries safely. Through focused instruction and hands‑on labs, participants learn how to interpret applicable standards and site requirements, recognize safe vs. unsafe conditions (leaks, swelling, overheating, corrosion, damaged cables/connectors), and apply best practices for charging. We cover core maintenance and testing tasks for flooded lead‑acid (and key differences for AGM/lithium‑ion), including: electrolyte watering (when/how), cleaning and neutralizing, terminal checks, charger settings/indicators, and recordkeeping that extends battery life and uptime.
Rigging & Load Handling (Overhead Crane)
LiftOne’s course prepares operators and riggers to move loads safely and efficiently with overhead and gantry cranes in industrial environments. Blending classroom instruction with hands‑on application, participants learn equipment fundamentals, safe operating practices, and execute safe lifts.
Topics include pre‑use inspections for cranes, slings, and hardware; proper selection and inspection of rigging gear; hitch configurations (vertical, choker, basket); sling angle effects and capacity derating; load balance and center of gravity; hand signals and communication; taglines and load path control; and safe traveling, spotting, and storage of rigging. This course meets the training requirements in relevant ANSI/ASME standards and is compliant with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.176, 1910.179, and 1910.184.
Fixed Cab Cranes - General Industry
LiftOne’s course prepares operators to run fixed‑cab mobile cranes safely and efficiently in general industry environments. Blending classroom instruction with hands‑on practice, participants learn crane components and controls, load‑charts (radius, configuration, boom length/angle), outrigger setup, power‑line clearance, and communication/hand signals. We also cover pre‑use/shift inspections, functional tests, and safe load‑handling techniques for pick, travel, and set.
Learners complete a written knowledge exam and a practical skills evaluation in realistic workplace scenarios. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate of training aligned with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.180, ASME/ANSI B30.5‑2025, and ASME/ANSI P30.1‑2024.
